Another intense month. We are still in orb of the Uranus/Pluto square of last month – the war between the spirit of revolution and the obstacle to change. For more on this square see my blog article.
At the beginning of June, until the 13th, all the planets are moving direct except Neptune. Last week, both Venus and Saturn turned direct. So this is a good time to move ahead in your profession and relationships. It is also a good time to find a new home. But after the 13th Mercury is retrograde until August 8. It’s not like everything stops, it is just a time-out to think about where you are and go over your plans.
On July 17 and 18 Mars in Libra squares the dreaded Uranus/Pluto Square. The three planets together can mean violent interventions, sudden disasters, fanaticism or a mania for destruction. Because Mars is in Libra, the peacemaker, and is trining Jupiter God of wisdom and optimism, I am hoping for this aspect to be a breakthrough event regarding violence and destruction. Hopefully it is a wake up aspect to how we are contributing to the mess we are in, ecologically and politically.
Dates to Watch:
July 3 – Mars enters Libra until August 23, 2012 – Mars is a real wimp in Libra. Instead of fighting for his rights and standing up for himself, he does the passive aggressive thing and whines a lot. But if we are looking to form a peace treaty either on the world stage or in our personal lives. This placement can help.
Full Moon at 12 Capricorn. This brings to our awareness our duties and responsibilities, if you have been slacking, This full moon may not help you jump up and do something about it. The Moon in Capricorn is sluggish. Try to do just one task at a time.
July 4 – Mercury Trine Uranus. A very good day to let your mind bring in some expansive ideas. You don’t want to be confined today. A very good day for fireworks of all kinds, physical and mental
July 13 – Uranus turns Retrograde at 8 Aries and will stay retrograde until Dec 13, 2012. If you have any personal planets or the ascendant at 8 Aries or Libra except to be very nervous, agitated or irritated but also inspired with a new vision of the future. July 14 – Mercury Retrograde. Mercury is in Leo during this retrograde period and with Uranus in Aries, both fire signs, you may not want to sit back and daydream until this one has past. Do get busy, but make no long range plans especially if it involves traveling or buying mechanical or electronic equipment
July 15 – Sun Square Saturn. Keep you head down and just work, that is all Saturn wants to see, no glitter, no glamour, no fun.
July 17 – Mars Trine Jupiter. You can put your energy and time to good use on this one. Your work is enjoyable. Progress is made. Good for financial dealings.
Mars Square Pluto at 7 Libra. This square makes a t-square (3 sided square) out of the difficult Uranus square Pluto that was exact last month. So forget what I said above. The Jupiter may help smooth this one out a bit. But this aspect warns against forging ahead with any actions. I look at Jupiter at a benefic God, sprinkling angel dust on you when you have these tough squares.
July 18 – Mars Opposite Uranus at 8 Aries. This is also part of the T-square above. This one brings in abrupt impulses, opposition to progressive ideas. An out of the blue act of violence or disruption.
The above Mars squares will affect you personally if you have Personal Planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus or Mars) or the Ascendant at 5 to10 degrees of Aries, Libra, Capricorn or Cancer.
July 19 – New Moon at 26 Cancer at 12:24 AM. This new moon squares Saturn at 23 Libra. The next month will be about home and family, but Saturn means there could be some responsibilities in these areas.
July 22 – Sun in Leo until August 22, 2012 This is all about fun, romance and recognitions. It is a time of ambition, independence and leadership. It is a time to show generosity toward others.
July 25 – Mercury Trine Uranus. This is a repeat of July 4th because Mercury is moving retrograde and is repeating the aspects it made when it was going direct this month.
Jul 28 – Sun Conjunct Mercury at 5 Leo. You have a bunch of bright ideas today especially if your have personal planets or the ascendant at 5 Leo.
July 31 – Sun Trine Uranus. Entertainment and fun today. It may be a spontaneous party.
Venus Trine Saturn. You may meet up with a friend you haven’t seen for a long time. Your relationships feel solid and secure to you.
